Hmmm, it’s the “used to” part I’m worried about… got this little one waiting for his tank to arrive this weekend. And 5 clams I’d like him to share space with.
I’ve scrounged around various other forums, and haven’t really found anyone post about a situation like mine, so I’m hoping to hear about experiences from folks who may have done something similar, to help me guide how I approach this.
I just purchased a complete, 5’x2’ footprint, 125 gal...
For analysis like this, I believe the assumption is they will not send back any remaining sample. Also, as I understand it, the results are reported online, so there is no physical report.
Picked these up at a frag swap years ago, I think they were labeled “Pink zoas”. Do these have a name, so I know what to call them when I bring some to the swap? If there’s interest, I’ll start a DBTC as well.
Thanks!
I have a very “not reef safe” lemon peel angel in with my soft corals, mushrooms and anemones. Its never even thought about tasting the anemones or mushrooms, but different fish have different tastes. Have you seen any of your fish nipping at things? The levels you listed seem fine, more curious...
Would love to have a directory of scientific names with pics, and maybe examples of "named" corals to associate with them.
Some species must be more prone to specific issues than others, and actually knowing what you're trying to grow in your tank would be super useful if something isn't doing...
Yep, mine too, and even lthough purchased second hand, I couldn’t agree more.
Do you happen to have his contact info? I can’t find anything for him online...
That’s a great idea Mario. My current tank is one of his, and the one in Mike‘s garage I’d like fixed could have been made by him too. I’ll see if I can find contact info for him
Just made an update to this thread, but I don’t see it showing up. Maybe because it was in the old buy-sell forum?
Was looking at this tank sitting in Mike‘s garage yesterday, and it would be perfect for what I would like to upgrade to... except it needs the back panel replaced. Does anyone...
Just scraped some brown, sting-ey gold from the back of my AIO. I assume you’d like more than this, but if you happen to swing SF, I’m happy to hold off adding a little bleach before dumping these in the toilet.
