There is a dbtc of these too, but if you don't have wrasses, the babies will populate quickly. I was thinking of keeping one of the small tanks wrasse free to try to let them grow out.
I have to change my house air filters every 3 months here with how much dust is in the air. It is insane the buildup that happens without preventative maintenance.
Hey Bar
Figured I would add to this thread with my story about debugging "Test B Fail".
I moved to Vegas and didn't have my Trident working for close to a year. When I booted it up, I expected to have to flush some lines with RODI. If you look closely, you can find the lines that are the...
It hit 120 F here yesterday. At the house, we got 111F or so.
The dry heat thing is real though, been able to keep my tanks under 80 with a couple fans and the AC keeping the house at 77.
I've started adding some schooling fish and a few utility fish.
There are about 10 Zebra Barred Dartfish, 15 Blue Green Chromis, a Lavender Tang, an Aiptasia Eating Filefish, two Pajama Cardinal fish, a Blue Cleaner Wrasse and a Lawnmower Blenny.

If you haven't changed salt and know your di water is good, I personally would not worry about the nsw. It is a known good, but I think you...
My lfs here had a great deal on emerald crabs for $5, I've never seen them that cheap! You are more than welcome to pick one up next time you come through Vegas.
The tank looks great, nice work.

Next step is get what's alive in a bigger temp tank than 5 gallon bucket while...
From a quick read of the product page, it appears to market as a way to add trace elements/minerals to the reef tank from mud that collects near other reefs. I am with Derek here and think it likely isn't worth it.
That being said, I definitely added the occasional product to help "diversify"...
Flow
Right now I have 2 Vectra L2 pumps feeding from their own 1" pvc pipe into a single 1" pvc pipe running about 60% each. This is then split into a random flow generator shooting towards the center of the tank, and a nozzle shooting across the top, away from the overflow.
I currently have...
Ammonia has dropped significantly after a week, so I added a bunch of chromis and a few others. That took from June 17th to June 25th to get significant ammonia drop. Benefits to cooking large volumes of rock and crushed coral ahead of time. Also got my Neptune Gro out and hooked it up...
Petco has a sweet deal out here now that is 20% off livestock if you buy a bucket, so now this tank is stocked! Working on the living wall build behind it.
