Thought I’d post a picture of the “holding tank” that has most of the coral l kept from the 50 in it. Still thinking about my next reef that this live stock will go into but wanted to preserve this as part of the journal.

Not crazy at all, I used a pair of XR15's and 2 x 24" T5's for a 36x18x18 reef and it did a super job of growing out sps; actually only ran the T5's for 5 hrs a day at peak photo period.

Happen to be loosely watching an Octonauts episode based on the Great Barrier Reef with my little one this morning and I noticed that many of the elements were based on real creatures you find in the reef. A watchman goby and pistol shrimp warned the Octonauts about crown of thorn starfish...
