Euphyllia are found right up into the surf zone in the wild. They will recede if a pump is pointed right at them and steadily blasted, but they can take quite a bit of wave like action. Very adaptable corals.

I wouldn't use old water out of the bin. I'd personally make more. If you wanted to "reuse" old tank water, I'd mix a bunch of water the day before, plumb the mixing container into the system for a day and have extra water that your tank is acclimated to. You are likely going to want to shake...

Feed it, if you have to shut off the pumps about an hour after lights out, direct feed it and let the food sit there until it eats.
