Mel (anurus) is very active today - behaving like a happy wrasse should. Now that I’ve successfully introduced two small wrasses, I’m chomping at the bit to add a couple more. A coris and a pink face.

The Melanurus was brave enough to come out for the automatic feeder frenzy and grabbed a couple of pellets. The six line has been seen holding her own against mamma Maroon. There’s also been a visible reduction in Nudis.

Melanurus doing much better today - out and about looking for food. She’s learned to avoid the tusk. The six line is right at home.

The latter. It’s not a fish that hides and the tusk is being a real jerk. But…watching the tiny six line darting in and out of the coral is magical.

Picked up a six line and a melanurus from Neptune yesterday. The six line is doing well, hiding from the mean fish. The Melanurus not so much.

I’d like mine sans plug. Gonna glue it directly to a dead SPS colony

This thing is ridiculous. Over 18” long

I have two big, aggressive wrasses: the green bird and the tusk, so I need something with a bit of a superiority complex. It can’t be a shy, well behaved fish ;)

Throw a bunch of bumblebee snails in there.
