Once that bad boy attaches itself and starts to grow, it takes off fast. And is very beautiful. I acquired that piece from aquarium concepts a few years back from a customer of theirs that grows it like a weed. Very nice piece.

Yeah it's big. It grows fast once it is attached to something. I had that from a 1/2 inch piece. It took about 2 years to get that big and I have fragged it several times in the past. One of my favorites.

and this is a LED only reef system. LPS seem to love the light but sps, not so much. the sps look fine just growth has slowed down, still growing just a lot slower.
