Running carbon as a form of filtration.

In my opinion the 4 line wrasse is prettier and in my limited experience behaves better than 6 line wrasse. (I’ve only ever had one of each though.) I have a pink streak that a friend gave me when he shut down a couple years ago. It’s pretty cool looking and very friendly so far.

What else could they do? I thought you just have to go fallow for x amount of days. Raising the temp speeds up the pest lifecycle, is how I understand it. Do you want lower margins or a different protocol?

its been a couple few years since I have tested phosphate or nitrate. I imagine nitrate is low while phosphate is high. Need to get some new reagents and take a look.

Your tank looks great in the recent "Full Tank Shot" thread (shown below). How long has your tank been at .46 phosphate?

They are dither fish too! Flow acclimation seemed to take longer than salt acclimation in my limited to a few experience. After acclimating to salt, they would live about a year in my tank (high flow). I did not get them as babies though. Age unknown.

They were on several youtube videos a while back with abyzz... Can't remember who's channel. I do remember seeing their facility and thinking what a great, clean, bright and well organized shop.

I am excited for more people to try it out and see how it goes. Maybe it can kill the verms that line our entire plumping pipe walls, and other places bumblebees can't get to? I have also heard of some stories using the flake. In one case, they fed the food once a week rather than daily.

The versa dosing pump tubes had some small pinholes in them, I had heard from some others when I was inquiring about my inconsistencies a couple years back. I noticed air in the line like you mention. I replaced the tube which solved the issue. I have a backup tube on the shelf for when it will...

I should consider this as well- push better than pull. Earlier I mentioned "booster pump" when I should have said I have an AquaticLife RO Buddie Booster. I am not sure how different an RO Buddie is than a booster pump but I just went with their install instructions. I may deviate now though.

Mine come in mylar but then I cut the top off. So I considered getting some resealable empties from amazon to store the extra.
