Interesting I had no idea the clowns would feed them. The CSB has two spotsynctus (sp?) hosting it it. I have a couple oscillarious that are hanging out on the wrong end of the tank so they might not even known the Haddonis are in the tank. I might need to find a way to encourage them to explore...

I have a beautiful CSB and two Haddoni carpets that happily eat a silverside every week. I’m sure they pickup a small amount of Reef Frenzy and mysis when feeding the fish. They all look super healthy, however knowing variety is the spice of life just curious what others are feeding theirs?

Oh definitely need a longer tube. I also bought a light cover for the tube since it would be right next to my sump lights. They also say to set it to the slowest release when using it in a sump configuration. Looking something like this.

Anyone tried one of these yet? I picked one up to setup to provide plankton. Pretty well built and thoughtful design. Once I get it fully setup and running I’ll report back. I really like the idea of the mixing tube. I always wonder what portion of the auto feeder food goes straight to my fleece...

For the sink drain I would suggest ceramic vs stainless steel. I tried to completely eliminate any stainless steel from my utility sink given the salt water from cleaning protein skimmers etc will eventually start corroding.

Are your lights Controled or bridged via the WXM module? I have had screwiness with the lights when the wifi goes out even if the Apex is hardwired. I have since moved away from the WXM and now just use the Apex as a kill switch and have the light cycle controlled separately.

Any Water Dive Center in San Jose and Aquarius in Monterrey are both excellent local dive shops. I sometimes help out on the dive classes.

I volunteer with Reef Check. We dive up and down the coast performing surveys. Every year we have to be recertified in algae, invertebrates and fish. Caulerpa is one of the invasive species we train to identify and report immediately if detected on any survey.
