No just coris, melanurus, and leopards do as far as I know for common wrasses in the hobby. I have a leopard in my 60g frag tank bare bottom just put a sand container in there for him. Thats actually how I caught my old wrasse, just waited for him to go to bed and took the container out...

My 180 was covered and it was doing 1-2 gal a day due to the sump I think, sump was uncovered and had a lot of sloshing around going on

I did but a lot of people would advise you against due to the outcome being much worse if the float switch fails. If you have a 190 thats covered id say a 10-20 gallon resevoir is probably good to last a week or two

Tunze ATO's are pretty good IMO. You dont need a controller
