    George's IM Nuvo 14

He said there were more heads. It was down to one when he passed it to me. Is it a DBTC?

    George's IM Nuvo 14

For today’s update. @PeetaJai gave me a one head candy cane that was struggling in his tank. It’s starting to make a come back and forming a 3rd head already. And yes, still battling hair algae.

    Blackfysh's Fluval Evo 13.5

Not sure how much room is in your chamber, I have an IM Nuvo 14 and I upgraded to a MightyJet desktop DC return pump. I added a vivid aquatics random flow generator nozzle (which I think you can 3D print on your own if you have a printer). The pump is rated at 300+ gph and can be set to pulse...

    Chaeto trimming time - SF

Hi all, Trimming my chaeto soon. It’s in the back chamber of my nano. So, probably a small handful / fits in a pint container. Not like the basketball of chaeto that others trim. Let me know if interested and we can coordinate. Located in SF. Tank is pest free except for hair algae issues.

    George's IM Nuvo 14

Hmm... the kid at Neptune said it was a chalice... So it's a lepto? I thought they were encrusting. This one plates out a little more like a monti. Here's a picture of the lepto that I have in my tank that's been recovering (I'm pretty sure it's a lepto as I picked it up at the swap in '19...

    George's IM Nuvo 14

Thought I'd post an update. The tank was a little neglected over the holidays, but have been doing some extra water changes the past 2 weeks. Continue to fight hair algae, but have been manually pulling it, and also hitting spots where I can with a toothbrush where I can. I only feed corals...

    Bandsaw

Not sure if this is the right place to post, or what kind of bandsaw folks use for coral, but saw this on the SF Craiglist listed as free. Looks like an old Craftsman bench top bandsaw. https://sfbay.craigslist.org/sfc/zip/d/san-francisco-small-bandsaw/7265672753.html

    New Reefer in The City!

Steve at Lucky Ocean in Inner Richmond is good about the quality of his livestock, but doesn’t always have the largest inventory. You should listen to your gut re 6th ave. For corals, lots of folks in the city that have been helpful, and Don’t Break the Chain has been pretty active as of late...

Pointers - looking into 3D Printing

Hi all, Assembled the printer and ran our first test print with a benchy 1) The most obvious issue was a shift in the layer. Reading online, it sounds like belt tension may be the cause, and the belt may have slipped. So, I’ve tightened the tension on the bed belt which was fairly loose...

    Clownfish Pairing

Thanks. I'll keep an eye out for the shimmy. He has places to hide in the tank. Sometimes his tail looks nipped at, but he's been able to feed. I'll keep you updated.
