Will a lawnmower blenny eat brown hair algae? I need something to clear that from my display tank. Still waiting for my lemon peel angel to pig out on purple mushrooms….. :rolleyes:

I haven’t found anything that grows as good. If you have a suggestion for a leafy macro algae I’ll take it. I’ll be coming to the fragging event on the 23rd, and will have a bunch of frags of a nice hammer. Would like to get some macro algae if anyone can bring some.

He ate this morning during feeding time. Got a photo too. He just needs to start eating those purple mushrooms. He really darts around quickly.

Same here. Beautiful blue eyes. As long as he stays away from my Disney and the other SPS I guess he’s ok. So far, my firefish is mostly hiding. The rest of the fish were a little concerned at first, but pretty much meh now. Seems like my possum wrasse is hanging out with the lemon peel...

Does that include palys and zoas?

It’s a pretty fish, I haven’t had an Angel in almost 20 years. My first fish purchase from Petco. I hope he does his job and takes care of my purple mushroom problem. Thanks for the suggestion.

I got some donut holes. lol. And a great idea for fixing an excessive purple mushroom problem in my tank. Was good to meet people who I haven’t met in person before, and catchup those I have. Oh yeah, that ultimate orange passion is a beauty!

My tank needs pruning of some of the faster growing corals. GSP and purple mushrooms are great corals if you’re getting started or not dosing calcium. Plating monti is a good coral for a first SPS. I have lots to harvest because it grows quickly in my dosed tank. Some other softies, SPS also...
