Thanks @phc567 and @rygh. I had some led string lights using the generator for about 5 hours each night but I would think that shouldn't draw down the batter that much. I found the battery completely drained one day. What could cause that if not a vampiric draw?
Is anyone handy with solar or an electrician that can help me? I built a DIY solar generator based on a few builds I saw online. While it works, I think I have a vampiric draw as the battery will whittle down despite little use.
thanks for the responses everyone. sounds like i can keep dosing both throughout the day but perhaps separate the lines further apart. currently they are about an inch apart as I am using the stock tube holders that come with the Trigger sumps.
Do you spread the dose for both over 24 hours (using the Apex DOS function)? Or do you dose separately, dosing alk the first 12 hours and calcium the last 12 hours of the day?
I'm a bit concerned about precipitation even though I dose directly into a small pump. I heard it may be better to...
I bought a achillies tang from him when he was partnered with another guy under another company name. I would agree with @JVU; despite stating the tang was QTed, it introduced ich into my tank and resulted in me catching all the fish to run a proper QT.
Perhaps my experience was one off but I...
It's not bad but I get random ones sprouting in nooks and sometimes sand bed. I've been keeping on top of them but they seem to always come back. Looking at the tank, you won't be able to see but I inspect the back sides of the rock.
I have 2 leopard wrasses and a melanarus. Should be ok right? I've had cleaner shrimp with leopards before. How do your berghias generally fare in wrasse tanks?
