I second advanced acrylics if you’re interested in going that route. Guaranteed to not leak in my opinion. Just have to be more careful with care and maintenance. Jon build my 220 fully out of 3/4 acrylic and polished all edges. Looks great in my opinion

Gotcha i will look into those. By hard on the aquarium, are you saying the wave puts additional stress on the seams of a glass aquarium? My tank is full 3/4 acrylic. Built like a tank

I’ve been contemplating getting one for the 220. I want to add more water movement, but don’t want more power heads in the tank. Currently have two Neptune waves and two flared return nozzles. Anyone currently using one? Pros and cons? Is there something else I should look into? Thx!

Just don’t get too aggressive with the tightening. You can crack the housing.

Do you have room to add a ball valve to the near return line? That would allow you to balance the flow between the two.

Air needs a place to escape. Drill a small hole in the top of the elbow. Keep increasing its size until the noise lessens or goes away. You can also try airline tubing and a valve. But I have always had success with drilling holes until quiet.

Why measure? Make a template by tracing it with a piece of cardboard. Or get the CAD cutout from the manufacturer. Did John with advance acrylics make it? Ask him if it’s available. I was thinking of doing that to make vented lids for my tank, as it has poly covers
