Am I correct to assume that a recirculating skimmer will never have this problem? On the skimmate locker, how is cleaning of the tubing and cup? Does the tubing get nasty with time? Does it clog? Do you still need to clean those as well as the skimmate reservoir?

I'd go check on your refractometer too. My nano had really big issues due to a refractometer not calibrated.

The LED lens does heat up too, although most is absorbed by the heatsink. But I once had my lenses touching a plastic shield and it was hot enough to start to melt and got deformed. When I say lenses, it is the original clear semi globe and not the optics. My 2 cents

Hi, Was wondering if clownfishes also get marine ich and produce cysts or they can only develop brook? My real question is actually if a 4-6 week hyposalinity treatment is necessary for newly acquaried clownfish or just formalin treatment enough?
