I was thinking - if there is an undetected bulkhead leak/accidental spill on one side of the glass, the plywood would deform on that end, tilting the tank. Maybe this is what overthinking looks like :p

Hmm - maybe a larger portion of the plywood needs to get wet for it to deform compared to smaller tanks.

Maybe I don't understand physics as well as I once did - wont that mean more deformation under all that weight?

Hmm interesting! I would've thought otherwise! Does the plywood retain its original dimensions even if it gets wet/damp? No deformation whatsoever even after imbibition?
