The rock that's in the above pic is NOT suitable for marine aquaria. You want a calcium carbonate based rock (live rock) not the volcanic "bowl" or "lace" rock that's pictured in the tank. and who's the feathered friend that lives next store?

IMHO I would not have any rock higher than 2/3 of the water up the water column. Corals grow, fish need room to swim

@Cspencer Those rocks should be removed from the aquarium They have the worst reef herpes: majano and aiptasia dry out the rocks until next summer to be safe
