    Are copepods worth it?

If you plan on feeding them straight from the bottle it's going to get expensive real quick. The better option is to buy a bottle and set up a culture so you have a continuous supply of them to add into the seahorse tank over time. Settting up a culture is a challenge in itself. I have a tisbe...

Uv sterilizer for water box AIO 65

There's some submersible kinds but they might fall into the category of good for a couple intermittent uses but not long term continuous use. They also might be ok for algae and dinos but not slow enough for pathogens. Aquatic Collection might have this since they carry a lot of Aquatop...

Anyone use Reef Brite LED bars and like?

The Reefbrite XHOs are very blue, like windex blue. With your peninsula viewing on both sides it may look too blue if your kessils are only down the center. For reference, I run 6 kessils and 4x 36" Quanta Pro meseo blue bars on my 83"x27" tank and feel that the color is still too blue for my...

    Tank movers

I wonder if they would've moved the 7 Stills tank, and how. Saw this a while back on IG. Looks like the best way to move a large tank if it's all flat ground.

    PIF Nerf guns

I'll take a couple of them if they're still available when I'm down in San Jose again. My 3yo is starting his "turn everything into a sword or gun" phase. Am I ready to clean up bullets all over the house? That's a different question

    Sea Swirl Sea Sweeps

    Reef Hoarders Organization

$350 later, I'm happier with the results. I liked @MarcosDelgado0 idea with the storage tote rack so I found one that fits the 12 gallon clear flip tops. Three of those totes aren't even reef related so I gained some room. The Husky cabinet doesn't haven enough shelves or efficiently fit the...

Favorite YouTube Channels - The good, the bad, the ugly

New channel I've been watching. I think the diver is part of a reef conservation program in Australia. His latest videos have been more about coral identification in the wild with slight emphasis on the aquarium hobby. Very fascinating to me: Deep water acros: Chalices Anemones Staghorn acros

    Help, Tank transfer. Tank dimensions.

I had considered this tank before when looking at peninsulas. Aqua Japan Pro 85 has close to the specs. 47.24L" x 17.72"W x 23.62"H 85 Gallons. Not a true peninsula but with a corner overflow it can be run like one. It only has one drain and return hole in the overflow btw. Aqua Lab Aquaria in...

    PIF: Zebra turbo snails

Have 2 big zebra turbo snails to re-home. I've had them since they were small and now they're about 3 inches in diameter. Great algae eaters but have a tendency to knock over sps frags. Probably better for a softie tank or fowler.

*DROP ALERT* SPS PRE drop Sneak Peek finally "DROPPED!!!"

Googled the etymology. It came from the newspaper industry, where delivery trucks would literally drop off bundles of newspapers at news stands. It became a metaphor with the music industry for album drops when a retailer has "dropped" the tape/cd on the shelf. Now any product release can be a...
