Diatoms can be silicates from bad/old ro/di membranes. Then the diatoms can lead to what looks like Dino’s but they are silicate snot on your rock.

This is my personal opinion. I don’t want to be that guy. I gotta say this tho. If you know nothing about the animals you keep. You shouldn’t have gotten them. Just because they were free. Don’t make the animals pay for you to learn.

I’ve never kept an angler before. I have kept eels. You can feed them raw shrimp. Just put it in front of their face as they have bad vision. Doesn’t need to be alive.

Looks like live aquaria is done. It’s kinda sad but long over due. They are selling everything out of the Wisconsin store to shut it down. Website is down too.
