    Alternatives for Aiptasia killers

I debate that-a few nudibranches, aiptasia filefish, and a Molly miller took care of mine permanently..took awhile

Hanna ULR Phosphate Test Reagent - Toxicity

@Alexander1312 -one thing I do use are those 3-d funnels that go over the curvette- makes a huge difference in that it never gets on my hands at all.

    AquaWiz KH Controller

At even 800 vs 675 I’d have to consider the options. The trident you get alk, ca,& mg. With aquawiz you just get alk. For someone like myself who uses AFR-that’s ok-once I get the alk locked in-everything else locks in. On the other hand Aquawiz you have no reagent -although now running just...

    Alternatives for Aiptasia killers

Aiptasia filefish but remove promptly if you have other soft corals! Follow up with a Molly milller from biota. They come really small & took 8 months but finally got rid of the last remaining one sticking its nose at me.

Electronic alk monitoring alternative to trident

Still using trident. Got it functional again. Simplest solution when you get the “no water sample” is to go to AC & replace the black tubing for $8

    Your favorite coral glue?

Any thick IC gel works. Use to use seatak as well but it’s not available anymore it seems. Once the rocks are rescaped-going to use sandwich method with maxspect coral putty for corals -which is suppose to be epoxy like without supposedly causing protein skimmers to overflow. See how it works!

    WYSIWYG SPS Coral Colonies

Hanna ULR Phosphate Test Reagent - Toxicity

@Alexander1312 -i do look at those warnings and wonder. I just keep my nose and eyes away from it (and no fan) and call it a day. I test PO4x generally 2x a week. Of course you can a get a trident NP or hydros maven whenever it actually comes out & not worry at all!

    Urchin that eats valonia?

There are two crabs -pithos and emerald crabs., they tend to work ok-except they can’t get at circulation pumps or the weir where it can hang out. Also my tuxedo really is a roomba and moves really fast

    Urchin that eats valonia?

Ok @Thales -spill the beans -just to demonstrate that people are also excited about other things than the Rubbermaid toothbrush- you had mentioned an urchin that eats valonia? I couldn’t quite get the name of it off reef beef though. Can you tell us what it is and the concerns around coral...
