why make a new arch? If you don’t like the zoas why not just take out the arch, scrape the rock down with a hard wire brush, and put the ar ch back in? If very paranoid you could pour on some boiling water or jsut leave the arch in the sun for a week or two and the zoas won’t come back.

Good idea! I just replaced my carbon filters this past weekend (and ordered a new set from BRS) but will use this 13.5lb pile of carbon I am about to have!

Did you notice any difference when you switched to CAC? I bought the 0.5 cubic feet which will take me years to go through. Maybe I will break it down into smaller chunks and see if any club members want to buy a small amount to test out.
