    Getting rid of aiptasia

I've tried getting rid of aiptasia with F-aiptasia, aiptasia-x, and lemon juice but they seem to keep coming back. For those of you who have rid their tanks of aiptasia, what did you do? I would like to try berghia but I have 3 wrasses and they would likely end up as a meal. Has anyone tried...

    SPS Pest ID

Hard to tell. Black bugs are noticeable at night and generally eat your sps from the base up, They glide about. Do you have a picture of the sps before dipping? You don't need a microscope to see black bugs; they're visible to the naked eye.

    Tank sitter

Is there anyone that offers tank sitting services? I plan on taking vacation and would like someone to swing by to check on the tank. I checked with Neptune and it doesn't appear they offer. I'm located near SJ.

Reducing heat in garage for frag tank

I'm looking to move my frag tank and QT into the garage but it gets quite hot during the day. For those that have garage tanks, how do you keep the temps low? My garage does not have any insulation at the moment but I'm not sure it makes sense to insulate the entire garage just for a frag tank...

    Vortech and water clarity question

For those that run Vortechs or any other wave maker with a controller such as Apex, do you allow the Apex to shut off the wave makers to feed or do you use the feed mode that is built into the wave makers? I ask because I have heard that constantly having hard shut downs may pose issues. In...
