Did they get dropped ever? They're pretty fragile unfortunately. Also they often need to be broken in when first bought which isn't super clear in their instructions. Try swapping the wetsides too and see if the noise improves.
I've adjusted my lights to peak during my high solar hours and precool my house during that time as well on hot days. Also what temp are you keeping your tanks?
I know @Alexander1312 can attest too that in Europe they've shifted towards lower wattage pumps to save even more.
Just follow the Humblefish protocols to the letter. Don't modify. If you didn't meet the criteria of the 14 day method exactly, then run the 30d. https://humble.fish/community/threads/copper-treatment.17/
Be sure to research this fish whomever takes it. They can prey on smaller shrimp and can be super aggressive to other fish. I remember in the old fish store days I would hear people using them as bristle worm control or to "clean up" new shipments of live rock. They jump too.
A cool test would...
I just added WWC Bizarro Cyphastrea to DBTC.

Glad you're seeing success! Got some corals for you too when you're ready, just let me know. @Invictus should have a Polyp Lab block ready to go as well if you want more bacterial diversity too.
No need to replace @tribbitt 's either, they're meant to be shared. After a couple months you can clean it off and drop it off with myself or @Srt4eric
Welcome! I think there's a few other members recently that posted who are down in your area, @crashdump and @mlang . I'm thinking we should create a Monterey Bay sub forum at some point people can down there can have their eyes on it!
