Hawaii (Insider) Travel Recommendations (for Reefers)

What are the odds, we stayed 1.2 miles away from this location in your map when we visited Oahu.. I still remember, COVID lockdown started a week after we came back with all flights suspended and we felt so lucky to be back home, specially coz it was our baby moon and would have been so...

Qckslvr and Mrs 90 gallon Oceanic tank build

+1 to Michael.. 1st step is to confirm if the CBB is eating at the shop before getting your credit card out.. but even if a CBB is eating at the shop, it doesnt mean it will continue to eat at home.. They are one of the hardest fish to keep along with Moorish Idols coz of the same reason.. If...

Diving straight in - Sameer's Waterbox Infinia 230.6 build thread

thanks @PjFish .. I will try hiding some food next to them.. When I checked an hour later, the star fish was buried in the sand again, so maybe it was just a morning stroll up that rock lol! But definitely need to keep them happy so will try the above techniques, thanks again both of you

Sand Sifters o_O Rock Climbers  1st time I see this sand sifting starfish on a rock.. have seen them climb up the wall before falling awkwardly.. Gemini says Starvation Warning: If they climb up the glass frequently, it usually means they have consumed all the food in the sand and are...

My first Fish copper Qt treatment

all fish looking great and eating is always a great sign @MichaelB.. I believe both the videos are from the same tank, but guessing from the video name, probably you wanted to share video from different tanks. Is that a Yellow tang or Scopas in the video? or maybe QT changed YT to a 100k Yellow...

Qckslvr and Mrs 90 gallon Oceanic tank build

Sorry to hear about your losses.. what do you think might be the reason though? I have been using rinsed rowaphos without any issues thus far, though while taking it out I do see black residual water drip from the bags which definitely doesn’t look healthy for the ecosystem.. reading your post...

When I saw the little fish on the floor, I freaked out.. on the floor, they look nothing like the beautiful vibrant self inside our aquariums.. I hope nobody has to go through any losses, specially not these kind

I found four Aiptasia in my 90 :(

I have a few, not too many corals atm.. but usually filefish stays away from corals, plus they eat everything - flakes, pellets, nori.. so I guess if you feed them well, they will stay away.. they are listed as "Reef Safe with Caution" on various websites, but yeah a bad one can put its entire...

I found four Aiptasia in my 90 :(

Give them to @Chrism1330  On a serious note, I buried 2 that I saw in my tank under holdfast epoxy/putty and didn’t see one ever again.. also added filefish to the tank, so that maybe the reason as well.. CBB maybe challenging to keep, but they can help too OR get peppermint shrimp
