0.75G waste to 1G product... Definitely need a booster to make this work. I have mine set at 85 psi based on the membranes I use.

My system is probably overkill for Mountain View as water comes from Hetch-Hetchy, which has modest TDS... I'll change my sediment filters a few times before the membranes need replacing. I used to do a swap during membrane changes so I only change out RO #3 and move #1 and #2 down a position...

Consider adding a third RO canister to the setup, chaining the three in series rather than parallel... I did that some years ago and push about 85psi with a booster... my waste water is about 0.75G to 1G product...

I've had this purple tang since it was about an inch... in order for me to monitor and care for it, I had to move it from a 50 G to a 2.5G so I can encourage it to eat, etc. As it got larger, I moved it up to slightly bigger tanks. And now to the 5G... it'll likely be ready soon to go into my...

I mentioned in my earlier posts that the 5G is more like a nursery for the purple tang. Once it's big enough to fend for food itself then it goes into my other tanks... right now, it can barely compete with the two clowns... ...though once the purple tang moves out, I'm moving in the baby...

April update === Looks l forgot to hit post.... Been traveling a lot so dealing with a lot of excess green algae and green coraline algae I picked up when I put in a rock from another reefer.
