Just came home to all this gooey stringy stuff all over my tank. Any ideas what it could be?

Looks to be a brown flatworm. No bueno. I would take the torch out and dip it.

I use a syncra 1.0 as a return pump. Definitely enough power. If there is noise, you can always put some rubber on the pump to limit chamber vibration. As per wave maker, I use a hygger 1600gph mini wave maker.

Hamada gave me a old snail shell covered in it. I smashed that up with a hammer and sprinkled it like candy all over my tank

It will come naturally over time, but it doesn’t hurt to seed some in your tank to get the process going a bit faster. That’s what I did in my tank

Absolutely. In my opinion as long as you have a media basket and a decent maintenance schedule, the possibilities are endless with this tank.

Haven’t updated this in a while... everything is pretty much on autopilot now. Been pretty busy overall lately. Water changes when I have time if not it can wait.
