I'll add my experience. To be clear, I'm not advocating for Red Sea, just sharing my experience. I have a G1 Red Sea 250. I've had it for 5 years (and moved it once 2 years ago). No leaks. Rimless tanks scare me. My next tank will be euro braced for peace of mind.

Good to know. I haven't had a chance to see what precipitates. I just mixed a few corrective doses that went straight into the tank. I recently switched from 2-part to AFR, hopefully this means less fussing with Mg.

I mixed a more concentrated batch (20g to 16oz of water) and it got pretty warm. It's exothermic, so probably not fake.

I've been going through a lot of premixed Kent Mg. It was getting kinda expensive lol. Hoping this is a cheaper substitute.

Interesting, my packaging says to mix 2.5g in 16fl oz of water. Maybe that's why it doesn't get noticeably warm?
