Not sure if this contest is still going but posting for the heck of it. Not much growth but colors looking healthy.

Been a month since my last update and just saw the contest was extended, so here is a current photo from a new perspective. Taken with my new ocean box lens adapter.

Latest update on the formerly Adam Bomb - maybe PC rainbow now…

Probably the best month of growth I’ve had yet. Lots of sprouts coming off the plug now.

Update - about 2x the size and growing nicely.

Looking very similar to the last post but now with a bit more yellow/green happening around the entire frag.

Not the greatest of pics but I am getting some new sprouts now on the frag.

Another update for the month of June. Not much change in past couple of weeks

Seeing a little sprouting growth off the encrusting plug. Hoping for even more next month.

Awesome to see you are enjoying the toxic birds nest - an incredibly simple but really cool looking coral IMHO. I’m curious what you are using for your photo setup? Quite wonderful macro shots I must say.

Unfortunately it was 8 months out of the 3 year warranty. However, they gave me $1500 off a replacement and begrudgingly I ended up buying another Red Sea.

Yes, I don’t mind writing it up (but having spent so much time on the tank in last week will be a couple weeks before I can get to it.) The tank didn’t completely bust but it was darn close. By the time I got the new tank installed it was 2mm from edge of seam and in multiple places failing...

It may be too late to continue in the contest but posting anyways. Had to completely swap out my Red Sea 525 tank due to a seam failure and has taken a lot out of me but still going to post status even if just for fun. It’s encrusted almost the entire plug at this point.

April update:

Not much growth but the side that was broken did heal and added a little yellow around the healed part.

Here’s my update. Looks like I just made the deadline to post . Not a lot of growth but some decent color. It fell into my frogspawn the first night in the tank - so thought it might not make it, but it recovered just fine.

First time at a swap - was a blast. Can't wait for the next one and hoping i'm as lucky as a couple of those dual raffle winners! here are my starting pics.

Will try to get a better pic in the tank but measured outside to start.
