    210 gallon Dream tank

Here is a one month update: The lyngbya was wiped out in 4 days after dosing Azithromycin aquired online. Sadly I've lost corals from it smother some of them out. Mainly a few hammers and torches. I've also lost some of the candy cane and trumpet corals. There are two barely holding on even...

    White Stringy Mucus

I'm definitely not saying they are 100% spoinards just a possibility. One way to tell they get excited shortly after food hits water. Kinda like nassarius if you are familiar with how they pop out after they taste food.

    Calling all Anemone experts

I had nems stay put for a entire year. No changes and they just decided to up and move. The question would be: Any changes to light, flow recently? Have you moved an corals around or made new tank addtions? Moving things could have disturbed flow even moderately and new additions could be...

    White Stringy Mucus

They do. I had thousands of them in my sand in when I first started reefing again. I had to go bare bottom and bumblebees got the ones on the rock. A few aren't a problem but at plague level portions like I had they just piss off corals and make them stay closed. Feed the tank and within...

    White Stringy Mucus

Could be spoinard worms similar to vermitids except a web like vermitids they send out a single sting. They also build tube like things but they remain soft and crumbles easy with the slightest pressure. They often settle inside sand beds but can move up to rocks as well. On rocks they...

Yea so you can do it until hitting zero p04 paying for that much salt would suck over time.

Phosguard might help in a limited capacity. It not the same as having all the water forced through it as if you had it in a filter sock or cup under a drain to the sump. It'll have some effect for sure just couldn't guess how much. I would personally let them soak for roughly 2-3 days than 100%...

Tank Parameters all over the place

No I think he's saying dilloute 4mil not jump to 8. Take things slowly. And he also recommended doing multiple smaller doses. Kinda why I was recommending a doser to do this. Dumping it in in one does it gets skimmed out before making full contact with water. Smaller doses over time gives more...

Pic? I have a few myself, they finally quit trying to sleep on top of the tanks in the last few months. Though they still try to play in the sump when cabinets are open

Being a supporting You can join in on the third picking round. Even If you don't have corals to contribute. Another tip when I first joined I went to neptunes and hit up their $10 section and grabbed 3 nice ones that caught my eye. Aquatic collection also has the same. As a newer member you...

Featured RSVP by 4/24 for the 4/26 SUNDAY frag swap in Newark

Alternatively you can join in on the 3rd picking round if your already supporting member even if you don't have frags to bring. I would normally offer to bring some for you. However most of the ones I would offer on your behalf are current in a tank that's fallow until may 15th due to ick. I...

If you added reflectors to kessils they put out more par fyi. I have them on all of mine. The 55 degree ones. There are 35 degree ones but you would need several more kessils as the spread is much tighter.
