Interesting, i sent out to Triton on Monday as wall, no results yet. 3 tests (tanks) to Triton / 1 to ATI to compare results. (My SPS dom tank samples were collected at same time, and mailed out at same time).

    Losing my goni’s, need help

I would definitely check this. For sure not all gonis get along. What may have started as “friendship” early can turn to warfare as they grow larger. Have watched this first hand in my tanks. I have one particular goni that came as a freebie from SBB - have not found a goni yet that I can keep...

Featured Lets see the eye candy from the 6/22 swap

Is that supposed to be RMF Acid Trip from me? If so that is not it. I only brought one and it was a diff shape that that. That is green slimer. If the container was mislabeled let me know, I can make a real frag the actual RMF Acid Trip.

    Sunrun/PGE Solar Panels

They can set their own rates/rules but their backend is still PGE; so they are not likely to deviate too much as they still have bills to pay and those costs do change from year to year. As for the annual true-up (annual vs monthly) bill; that is the norm for solar as you will make more in the...

    Sunrun/PGE Solar Panels

what they give per watt in return is a fraction of what they charge, it is not a profit generator in any way. Having a battery can save you money in that you can charge it all day and use it at night; not just for outage scenarios.

    PizzaOven '25 Budget Build

I have one tiny Molly Miller and some hermits in the tank, so i'm really feeding the corals. I am experimenting with dosing a 'competing' bacteria to the tank as well this time to see if that speeds up the process.

    PizzaOven '25 Budget Build

Looks similar to what i have in my new LPS tank (and had before in my SPS tank when it was new). Not dino's based on what i could find. I beat it by feeding heavy and siphoning it off the rocks weekly. Had some on the sandbed, that has already cleared up. -rob

Dream Tank 2 72g Freshwater Planted Tank

I'm a fan of Ember tetras, Emerald-Eye Rasboras and of course CPD's for the small shoaling. Rainbows are really cool, some can get a decent size; and do take a while to color up; which i suppose is why lots of people sleep on them.

    Albert's UNS R120

My 90 is doing well, been up about 3 months now with corals, Haven't put in much time, but have been looking for the best lighting program off/on. Currently running a stock program from the initial setup.

How do like the Meridiens? I’m running the same over my UNS90; Are you running a stock program or a custom one?

    Sunrun/PGE Solar Panels

They are putting the roof because if any issues with the roof occur, that would become a massive expense to remove panels to then replace the roof. Having said that, no free lunches- the cost of the roof is baked in somewhere.

    Sunrun/PGE Solar Panels

I have Enphase, 39 panels and a battery. My ROI never lived up to the hype, based on the first sale (original purchase was 25 panels). Doesn't help that i added tanks since but even so the reality didn't come to fruition. Having said that, having solar and a battery - i would not go back...

Specifically, which corals like nutrient rich water?

This is so true: there are those still out there preaching the Redfield ratio (which has been proven to not apply to corals) or the 100:1 ration (M Paletta and others) and then there are those that carbon does and so have little/no nitrates but in theory the corals are feeding off of the...

Specifically, which corals like nutrient rich water?

i'd say everything as well. i feed all of my tanks (when i'm home) pretty heavily. Average 4x /day normally 5+. 40G, 80G, 150G. Corals are my nitrate/phosphate control.

    favorite ICP company

I've used ATI many times, FM most recently and a couple others like (now defunct) ICP Analysis. Going to try Triton as the results are supposed to come quite a bit quick (i'm told) other ATI has majority of my history and the site is/was easy to navigate. I did get still get my results quicker...

Torch Collectors - question on Holy Grail Torches

I have a newer ASD HG and one from the original strain that I recently got from TCK; while both look very nice, they are different. Tin had brought a couple original to to CFM last time, they just look different from the rest of the HG’s that were for sale and a price to match.

    Flat worm id?

For me, FW Exit - did little; Springeri Damsel - did little; pink streaked wrasse - did little (I went with pink streaked cause 6-Lines are assholes); KCL dip - instant knock off. They do annoy some of my yumas but not all. Don't have as many/much as on your glass; but haven't had irritation to...
