Moving an acrylic tank by yourself is doable. Simply unload the tank from the stand one end at a time onto the ground. Then when entire tank is on ground, use a dolly. To load, do the same thing. One end at a time.

If there are stairs, lay blanket on stairs then slide tank up/down.

I did it with an 8 footer.

So tell your wife, yeah we're enablers.
