2 PSA -general apex and trident alternate housing

Ok after a small heart attack this morning with the apex not functioning properly-

1) pay attention to the fallback option -I had a pump to fallback=on and when the EB832 malfunctioned -it dumped all the water from the sw reservoir into the tank. Fortunately the sump was big enough to accommodate it.

2) the alternative form factor for the trident-
Well-this does not do well if it floods and it and will zap the circuits.

This resulted in stray voltage that impacted the EB832 bar. Once I disconnected the trident everything went back to normal.

Oh no! That could have been so much worse. How did the Trident flood? Anything to do with the alternate housing? I have been so busy I haven’t gotten a chance to repackage mine yet.

Trident flooded by I think one of the tubes being congested even though I had blown water through them and everything primed ok.

As much as the original form factor sucks —for good or bad the electronics do sit higher and any liquid generally dumps out of the original form factor-you may want to drill a couple holes near the bottom..
