$900 for a LCD replacement (15.4" Macbook pro with touch bar)

Our 15.4" Macbook pro (with touch bar) has a cracked LCD, it only shows a black screen. We called a place and they said it would cost about $900. Ouch!
Does anyone know a good place for the LCD replacement? Thank you

I replaced 2 screens. It's not easy and not worth it.

Could accidentally break the new screen or other parts. Besides, you can't even do step 1 from the instructions. Reassembling the back cover is a PITA.

Connect the mbpro to a monitor and use it as a desktop.

buy this and swap out the drive, and resell your bad one on ebay for parts to recoup some of the money

the PCIe is soldered onto the board. You can target mode to transfer the data. that's a decent priced mbpro

Swappable ram/ssds in MacBooks hasn’t been a thing for years, sadly.
