Advice on treating Dinos

This is a really wide range of dosing suggestions... For a 100g tank this would be 200ml/day, 1ml/day, 10ml/day....

Y'all got your decimals right?
Conventional wisdom says 1mL per 10G, twice daily. I've dosed as high as 1mL per G with no issues... it stuns urchins and zoas the first few times... but they get used to it. so depends on how aggressive you want to be, and your tolerance.

And I went with the 0.1 ml per 10 gal recipe. Dosed at night one time per 24 hours. It might have required more time. No visible effect to critters.

Any advice on actually scooping up the dinos? Was hoping to meet up with someone on this forum that has a microscope for this.

I think I’ll be trying this peroxide method with the 100% blue light over the next few days

If you mean 'physically removing the dinos', I used a hose and just siphoned up as much of the 'gunk' as I could.

And if you're near SJ/want to make the trip, let me know and I'm happy to do the scope check for you.

Just a quick update. I started dosing hydrogen peroxide since last Saturday at 1ml per 10 gallons (4ml) a day. I’ve also been keeping my light spectrum blue only I and I think it’s working! Compared to before, it’s primarily pink/purple over brown.

I know there's a lot of information on how to prevent dinos online, I just wanted to ask since it seems like I'm slowly beating this, for those of you that have fought dinos and beat it, what did you do differently after treatment to make sure it didn't come back?

In addition to UV, I fed the tank more; raised nitrates and phosphates and added bacteria. My tank was young when I had dinos. It was starved of nutrients I believe. When NO3 and PO4 got to proper levels and balance, dinos faded out and vanished. Never again a problem.
