YIkes, corn will only make 18 gallons per acre/year? Wonder how many bucks the corn industry pushed to get the whole country to back corn ethanol.... 20,000 gallons acre/year for algae? Hell do they have a home green house kit?

Corn ethanol takes more energy to produce (through farming machine, transportation, etc) than it provides. It's total BS.
