My anemone split a couple weeks ago and I have now isolated one. It is about 4" across.
I got the original from Alameda Aquatics. It was about an 1" across, hot pink, and hiding on the underside of the rack. They thought it was a split in their tanks as well.
I live in Walnut Creek and can meet somewhere in the area on weekends on in the evening.
Here are the rules:
1) Must have suitable lighting. I started it under a 150 watt metal halide and it was happy. It is currently under 250 watt metal halides.
2) Tank must be established and be relatively stable.
3) First split goes back into DBTC
4) Cannot all ready have other RBTAs.

Thanks
