Anthias Questions

Hi! I have some questions regarding anthias. I want to get a trio for my tank and was wondering if it is best to get all 3 females or 2 females and 1 one male and why? I see trios pop up both ways on diver's den for live aquaria. I will probably either buy there or Neptunes or maybe AC. Finally, is there any particular species of anthias you would reccomend? Any other advice regarding them is welcome! Thanks!

Lyretail seem to be easiest for me. Maybe Bartlett’s also.
I’d get 1 male.
Plan to feed often.

Okay thanks, my plan is to use an auto feeder for multiple daily small feedings and then I'll still continue to feed at night.

I don’t have long term success yet so take this with a grain of salt.

I bought 6 bartletts a few weeks ago and one dies within a few days. (It was a different but similar species though.). I wanted 3-4 so I got 6 knowing there would be some deaths.

I got all females. I wanted them to be cordial when first being introduced instead of having a male beat the snot out of them right away in a new tank.

Eventually one will become the male. I see “some” sparring between them here and there but no male yet.

I feed 4-5 times a day. Using TDO pellets in an auto feeder 3 times a day and frozen for the others.
