I’d like to run a dedicated circuit for my tank. Anyone here an electrician looking for extra work? Willing pay in cash or coral :) Located in El Cerrito. TIA!

Not having other things taking power from the circuit that the tank may need.
How many amps is the breaker the tank is on and how many amps does the tank use

Two reasons:
1) If you use a lot of power with a big tank. Say 10A or so total.
2) If tank is on a GFCI circuit with kitchen, bathroom, or outside.
You DO want GFCI protection, but you don't really want to be on the same GFCI circuit as other things.
It can trip and knock out power to your tank.

Thanks for the feedback. I need to figure that out... maybe I should have someone come out to look. does anyone in the community ?
