Anybody Have a Pet Who Eats Hornworms?

I was sent 2-3 dozen too many. These are green hornworm/tomato worm moth larvae. They turn into cool moths but CANNOT BE RELEASED. I know some reptiles eat them. These are .5-1.” Can bring to swap.

Oh, that’s great! I’m glad you can use them. At the end of the year eighth graders do sketchbook activities of observations of larvae through butterflies, since most have not done that since kindergarten or first grade. Cool to release all of the butterflies from butterfly enclosures, but I cannot have dozens of unreleasable moths taking up that real estate!

Your class sounds awesome! Smart move to not release them lol.
