When it started, it was officially called "Frisbee golf" and "Frisbee football"
Times change, names change. Now it is officially disc to avoid the brand name.
But it is correct to say I really did play "Frisbee golf"
But if I were to do it now of course, I would be playing disc golf.

They pitched "Flatball" for a while to get away from the "ultimate" name, but it never stuck. We had shirts made that said "UCSD Flatball"

"Ultimate" all alone like it is now is so vague nobody outside the sport understands it.
Flatball is rather fun. Descriptive, quirky. Wish it had stuck.

It needs another 10ish years to be good. The camera angles have improved a lot to the point where it is actually watchable. Is supposed to be an Olympic sport next summer Olympic I believe. I’ve heard that before tho. LOL
