Anyone use Reef Brite LED bars and like?

I am starting to look into some auxiliary lighting for the 300. Right now there are 5 Kessil 360x's across the middle of a 72" long x 32" wide peninsula (see tank journal for pics). The tank is 32" wide so there is going to need to be added light to get the dense sps look down the road. Does anyone have experience with the Reef Brite lights in general, or the add on kit? Or I thought about trying to add a few more of the Kessils and stagger the lighting vs keeping them in a line to help with spread.

2x of these 36" ones could help maintain some accessibility in the middle of the tank.

The Reefbrite XHOs are very blue, like windex blue. With your peninsula viewing on both sides it may look too blue if your kessils are only down the center.

For reference, I run 6 kessils and 4x 36" Quanta Pro meseo blue bars on my 83"x27" tank and feel that the color is still too blue for my taste. I crank the Kessils to 100% color to compensate and the quanta pro bars are not dimmable. I have some SPS on the backside of the tank that don't get enough light so I'm considering adding two more Kessils and stagger the front-back pattern more. Tbh i sometimes consider getting rid of the LED bars and adding like 4 more kessils because I much prefer the color blending and shimmer they produce.

I used to like them. I think they might be outdated and more expensive compared to some other options these days
I made this same conclusion when I added light bars to my tank.

I use the Quanta Helix lights, which are basically the newer version of what @CaseyP is using above. They are dimmable now, which is nice. They come in both a blue and a white version (I have 2 of each in my tank, on either side of the Reefis). I posted quite a few pics in my tank journal of the spectrums, with some thoughts. Let me know what other questions/pics you are interested in. I am very impressed with the build quality. Note that they do not have software - you plug them in and adjust the dimmer. They do have a 10v input for APEX control (@Alexander1312 uses them this way I believe).

Yes, I do use them with the Hydros 0-10V port. The Hydros allows to run a program like with any other light. The cheapest way to run them though is the GHL congtroller (approx 100 USD) - I can look up the model if there is interest.

I have the smallest Reef Brites supplementing my Radion to get more light from additional angles. They do add a lot of blue to the tank, some solid pop, and about +60 PAR on average from mine.

I also am not a huge blue fan, so at least it would be the Quanta daylight led bars. I like what @derek_SR is doing in his tank.

This is also what I consider, I may feel down the road, maybe the answer is to think a little more about how I want to stagger 6-8 kessil lights over the tank. I have a couple of the ball mounts for the 360X which makes aiming them easy.

@JVU has 8 360’s over his tank and the color looked great.
