AP9x mount with AP700

I googled a bit but could not find anything useful. Anyone knows if the single arm AP9x mount is compatible with AP700?

The questions is the other way around. Can I use the ap9x mount for the older ap700 light?

Thanks . I guess adding the 2 parts will make the cost about the same as a pair of ap700 mount.
