Aptaisa's on clam shell

How should i inject these bastards?? Should i inject them and put the clam in a seperate holding tank? Will the excessive kalk have a ill effect on the clam??

I just lost a Derasa because I injected a mushroom next to it with calcium to get rid of it. I'm thinking that it was due to the mushroom dying but not sure. I would pull the clam out of the water and cut them off. The clam can handle being out of the water briefly.
 
I have never had a problem hitting the aptasia/majanos with aptasia x, joes juice and kalk paste. A couple of my clams had them. Just be sure to inject the aptasia directly vs. spraying it over the top or it will do no good and probably stress out the clam.
 
I do it directly in my tank, granted I have about a 250G water volume in my system but I am sure I am not the only one that uses kalk paste directly in my display. It doesn't take much if you inject it right.
 
I have used the Aiptasia X right in the mouth, since they don't seem to retract at all with this solution, rather take it as free food.
 
I've used kalk paste in my display tank to get rid of Anthelia sp. I killed %15 of the Anthelia sp. at a time, and waited a couple days in between, and did a small water change before administering more kalk paste.
