Are my corals eating?

OK... really stupid question. How do I know if my sps are eating? When I had softies and gorgonians it was easy to tell by watching the polyps... with sps there really is no change. My monti digi retracts a VERY small amount. But all the others never change. The food offered is a variety of sizes and types so there should be something that they would like.

I just pay attention to PE & coloration, if I'm getting both then it must be eating & synthesizing light, good enough indicator for me haha...

Well I'm getting good PE/colour and the growth is noticeable. Just wanted something more concrete.

Look for acropora mesenterial filaments. I see them about 10 minutes or so after adding reef chili or reef roids to my tank.

Nope... but I have mostly montis and a pocillopora (SP?).
