Hey crew,

I know yellow Coris wrasse will take out snails, and small crabs (hermits). Do you think they will also eat an emerald crab? Thanks!!

When they are small, no problem... Adults, potential problem. Any Halichoeres should be treated the same.

I've had quite a few, all ate stuff when they got large enough.

Mine doesn't touch my snails or crabs and shrimp. But pretty sure it ate my berghia nudibranchs.
Mine has taken out many snails and small crabs, and the Coris wrasse is < 3”. With the small about of bubble algae I have I wanted to introduce a few into my 160 gallon in hopes to nip it in the butt.

I have a very large emerald crab you are welcome to have for free. 3" wide hulking sump monster. I am fairly sure he is wrasse proof at this point

Hi Raj. I’d love to take one off your hand and observe its feeding habits in my tank. Thank you. Feel free to text me and maybe I can pick it up today if you’re free. 707-480-6920
