New gyre in place, upside down bottle ATO is a bust, it doesn’t work. Now just waiting for the new return pump, float valve, apex jr, and inkbird

And this tank will be fish less.

Chugging along, made some adjustment with overflow and lower the water level so it won’t look like it’s about to spill out.

Changed out light bars to ap700.

Cuc is arriving tmw to take care of the ugly GHA stage before it gets out of control.

Threw in a apex classic since I can’t find a apex jr. Temp stays around 75 and ph swings from 8-8.4

Here comes the ugly phase. Throwing in 2473727 snails to clear all the GHA up.

Everything looks stable, ATO using float valve is not working well. Might have to use electronic ones.

I retrofit a RMS mount for my AP700 and it worked out great.

Problem with this setup is I have a direct RO water feed, I don’t need a pump.... more like a electronic valve with your diy Ato?

Use a solenoid instead of a pump? With float valve for in case solenoid fails for some reason.

alright, shutting this tank down and sadly it's just taking too much to maintain another tank on the side. I'm spoiled by my large system. whenever I see a frag that's not doing well, and they came back alive right away after I place them in the main system, it made me less motivated wanting to keep this tank running.

so yeah most frags are either in the 187g or the low boys. I guess this will be my last nano/small system that I will ever setup.
