Baseball of Chaeto

The chaeto I got from @NanoCrazed has been doing great and has since filled my fuge. He was not kidding about it being loaded with pods fter adding it I have seen pods on the glass in the DT which is a good sign that they are multiplying.

Should be able to make a couple baseballs worth of portions. No known pests.

It's a strong healthy strain I got from Neptune about 4 years ago when they sourced from a farm in FL (I was told). I continue to farm this in a fallow tank for my own use primarily...

I love amphipods. At least my wrasses do. I always add an order of amphipods if the place I order pods/cuc etc from have them. I like diversity in the tank.

I use to until a bunch developed an aggressive streak and start devouring my zoas and nems... grrrr

Not enough right now, just harvested about a gallons worth. I will let you know when I harvest next.

I do know a few other members were trimming their Chaeto and were posting it in PIF, maybe try one of them if you need it sooner

Yeah I can harvest again, I was actually just noticing it was full. Disclaimer, I am currently battling aiptasia in my tank. I have yet to see any in my sump, but I understand that would be a deal breaker for many
