I had just picked up one too incidentally. He just sifts the sand gently. No bulldozing!@SepToob can update how well the golden head sleeper goby does for his tank too

They bulldoze as well, not much different then a diamond goby.
Valenciennea vs Amblygobius which explains the mouth shape, and why its not cleaning as well (they don't do much sand sifting IME, but due burrow and that is their issue). As far as size, Valenciennea get larger then Amblygobius, and have different behaviors. The published max size difference is 4" vs 6", but I have seen both arrive larger then the max sizer listed. Valenciennea tend to arrive larger typically due to new areas being harvested. Both can/will bury coral that is too low.yeah
