Can someone fill me in?

I would like to talk to someone who attended the last BAR meeting since I had a water problem and couldn't make it.
I want to hear about the DSB since that's what I have running.

It was somewhat brief. A few us are running shallow sand beds (myself included), and seemed to be seeing better sps color than running barebottom. While others said the opposite, they were running barebottom tank and seeing much better coloration.

We talked about anaroebic bacteria vs. anoxic bacteria (I am sure the spelling is all screwed up) benefits in dsb.

Conclusion - everyone runs their tanks differently and to each their own.
