Clown Goby Killing my SPS Frag, Next Steps?

Hello, I wanted to bounce this question to more experienced reefers. A clown goby has started to harass a 2" PC rainbow frag that I have.I don't know if he's nipping at it but he's definitely laying on it. I couldn't confirm it initially but now I know for certain. I already have the goby in fish jail. The top 1" of the frag is now completely white and is a lot worse than it was yesterday when the top part was only partically white. Do I cut off the white part now or do I wait and see? I don't want to cause further trauma.The bottom 1" looks fine but I'm concerned that the death will just continue downwards. Thanks!

There's a good old article here: http://reefkeeping.com/issues/2002-10/hcs3/index.php They tend to be SPS coral dwellers and can irritate them a lot if it isn't a large colony (higher fish to coral ratio).

If algae starts growing over the exposed skeleton then you might want to trim off dead parts.
