Sunny Tools near Costco on Senter Road. You swap the tank. I think a 20lb was $16 2 years ago.

Carbonic Services. You can usually get in and out in 10 minutes. You don't need to swap tanks. So you can keep your shiney new tank clean.

Bear in mind you may have to get your tank inspected still. While you get to keep your tank, vs swapping out, if you tank is out of date, swapping out is faster.

Carbonic does bottle inspections too if you need/ want it. It will just cost more. That’s when you have to decide if that shiny new aluminum bottle is worth it.

What's the going rates? I did a 10lb tank swap at Airgas in Hayward and it was like $60 + $30 in fees. Seemed high but my first time and didn't have any price points to compare to.
I’m not a fan of air gas. I use to buy welding supplies from them. Every time I left. I felt ripped off. Prices just seem extremely high.

Livermore at Coast Fire Equipment.

"We do fill C02 cylinders, cost of a 5# $31 and 10# $39 plus tax."

Hydroponic store in San jose $15 for 5lb and $20 for 10lb

That sounds ridiculously cheap. Even cheaper than I was paying 5 years ago. Are you sure they weren't smoking some of their plants when they charged you?

Look on fb marketplace. I haven’t tried any of those guys. But their prices seem super cheap.
